Accountant at Communicate Recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full creditors' process for producers, including produce and cost capturing, payments, remittances, and reporting.
• Maintain and monitor standard costs and investigate cost variances.
• Process commercial invoices, credit notes, and producer cost recoveries.
• Manage balance sheet control accounts related to standard costing.
• Oversee weekly/monthly commercial creditor payments and cash flow.
• Assist with onboarding of new customers and producers.
• Provide various financial and management reports as needed.

Requirements

• BCompt or BTech Degree in Accounting
• Completed articles at a registered auditing firm or a minimum of 5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Industry experience in fresh fruit or agri-business is essential.
• Strong cost accounting and standard cost principles knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in commercial finance systems.
• Forex experience is highly advantageous.
