Role Description

• This is a contract role for an Accountant.
• The accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting activities including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• The accountant will also ensure the accuracy of financial documents and maintain financial records. This role is on-site and located in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area.

Requirements

• Public sector finance experience – PFMA
• Investment experience (advantage)
• Draft financial statements and monitor budgets
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, ITR14, provisional tax)

Qualifications

• BCom accounting with articles, CA(SA) or CIMA
