Accountant at Stefanutti Stocks

Primary duties will include:

• Responsible for the compilation, reconciliation and collation of information for the production of financial information.
• Prepare outside audit schedules to support annual audit and special audit requirements.
• Conduct monthly internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and risks in financial processes and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data through routine checks and verification of accounting practices.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Track expenses, material costs, and labour hours specific to construction projects.
• Responsible for financial record keeping and digitization.
• Implement standard financial policies across all construction projects.
• Ensure compliance of financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in a finance field with at least three years relevant working experience
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Experience with internal controls and risk management.
• Exceptional Interpersonal, planning and organizing skills.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to assisting colleagues and clients.
