    Job Description

    • Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced marketing agency based in Umhlanga
    • This newly created position is ideal for a client-focused professional with a strong agency background who thrives on building lasting client relationships, leading projects, and identifying opportunities for account growth. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clients while providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure exceptional service delivery
    • The role requires occasional travel to client sites both locally and nationally

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients
    • Deliver exceptional client service and ensure consistently high levels of client satisfaction
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to brief
    • Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic planning sessions
    • Brief and coordinate internal creative, strategy, production, and digital teams
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and profitability
    • Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts and contribute to new business initiatives
    • Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members where required
    • Collaborate with senior management to ensure operational excellence and successful project delivery
    • Travel to client sites locally and nationally as business requirements dictate

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in an advertising, branding, marketing, or creative agency environment
    • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts across a diverse portfolio
    • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and timelines
    • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel

    • Strong agency background with an excellent understanding of agency operations
    • Exceptional client relationship management and customer service skills
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Highly organised with strong project management capabilities

    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
    • Proactive, solutions-driven, and results-oriented
