    Accounts Receivable Clerk - Allocations – Senior Process Associate

    Inviting applications for the role of Accounts Receivable Clerk - Allocations – Senior Process Associate – English!
    In this role, you are responsible to ensure that all credit operational back-end functionality is appropriately completed to support front end staff in achieving their business objectives and to maximise customer service. To specialise in the allocation of customer payments to invoices, ensure minimal uncategorised AR line items on the book and ensure that all customer claims are reason coded and logged to the correct teams for correction.
    ·    Ensuring that debtor’s receipts are processed accurately & timeously
    ·    Ensure that all appropriate customers have provided remittances via the correct channel at the correct time
    ·    Provide input on automated web facility for account allocations
    ·    Educate customers on automated web facility for account allocations 
    ·    Effective communication with the Query resolution team, Genpact, regional credit managers and the banks for query resolution on debtors' payments. 
    ·    Reconciling bank statements and receipts were required
    ·    Effective communication with the bank administrator for query resolution on bank clearing functions
    ·    Determine and capture customer reasons for not wanting to pay outstanding amount and reason code these items on the SAP system
    ·    Open and log all customer queries arising from allocations and monitor resolution
    ·    Resolve customers statement query by running recons, updating customer information or escalating the issue to the banking team
    ·    Stay up to date on the best practice business processes
    ·    Keep abreast of all product developments and new product release
    ·    Responsible for educating the customer in the use of their products and services to reduce propensity to call, and to direct customers to self-service where appropriate
    ·    Represent and deliver on the brand values during every customer interaction
    ·    Provide back office support to the regional teams to achieve overall credit targets
    ·    Ensure that all customer interactions are appropriately recorded

    Qualifications we seek in you!
    Minimum qualifications
    •    Matric 
    •    Diploma in Credit Control advantageous
    •     Credit Control Experience
    •    Excel and/or spreadsheet proficiency
    •    SAP finance knowledge and experience will be advantageous.

    •    Clerical and analytical thinking.
    •    Excellent communication skills
    •    Ability to work under pressure
    •    Ability to understand complex interdependencies 
    •    Highly numerate 
    •    Strong administrative skills
