Acting Team Lead (Entity Profiling) - Internal Candidates ONLY at Burgiss

About the role: 

• Team lead is responsible for supervising, overseeing, leading, managing and motivating the team to achieve individual objectives and data operation’s performance targets set by the senior team lead. Team lead is responsible for managing, reviewing and resolving client and internal queries related to fund or holdings level investment data in timely and accurately manner. Team lead will also heavily participate in validating the quality of data along with heavy involvement in training new analysts, leading internship program and supporting various client driven reconciliation projects. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist the senior team lead with performance appraisals (Assessments and Objectives)
• Create a healthy and motivating work culture
• Determine individual training needs and provide coaching
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
• Detailed review and analysis of private capital fund financial statements across multiple asset classes (PE, RE and RA)
• Audit work performed by less experience analysts to provide feedback to improve data quality and overall productivity.
• Manage, review and resolve client and internal queries related to fund or holdings level investment data in timely and accurately manner
• Improve data quality on existing commercially managed data by efficiently leading reconciling client-driven projects
• Lead data completeness initiatives in line with company’s future endeavors
• Lead compilation and aggregating of analysts’ training materials and various clients recon reporting
• Support other project leads, dataset owners or managers in various tasks (policy or tool implementation, driving work flow, client recons)

To be considered for this role you need to:

• Minimum 12 months experience in Burgiss.
• Private equity and real estate experience preferred.
• Has consistently performed well in their role at Burgiss (Accuracy & Production level) is essential. Score cards to be attached as part of the screening process. 
• Hands on workflow experience. 
• Have experience coaching and/or mentoring advantageous.
• Have shown a proactive approach and shared feedback with both your peers and the leadership.
• Experience contributing towards the hiring process and building high quality performing teams advantageous. 
• History of delivering projects on time and in scope.
• Clear record regarding conduct during employment period.
