The desired candidate will be part of a small but dynamic team responsible for supporting the implementation of the company’s strategic plans by carrying out and reporting on high quality financial analysis and data quality projects

Minimum requirements

• Relevant graduate and post graduate degrees (B.Sc/B.Comm) or related degree specializing in Maths, Statistics or Actuarial Science.
• High Proficiency In MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel and Access)
• SQL & VBA programming skills an advantage
• Knowledge of Compass Employee Benefits system an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate monthly management and analysis of a portfolio of 30+ funds
• Monthly delivery of accurate reports to the business within stipulated turnaround times
• Participation in data validation projects to further give insight into business processes
• Engaging various stakeholders and reporting on Highly Significant Issues/Risk factors affecting the business
• Annual financial reconciliation of annual financial statements
• Completion of various adhoc calculations
