WHAT DO YOUR DUTIES ENTAIL?

Reporting Sales Data:

• Report relevant sales data from Mercedes-Benz South Africa and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services regarding buyback lease contracts, ensuring accurate accounting and classification of all assets on the IBIS System. 

Calculate and Submit Taxes:

• Calculate and submit monthly VAT returns. Calculate and process monthly income tax and deferred tax. Prepare and submit income tax return while maintain all correspondence with tax authorities.

Oversee the ICS Cycle:

• Oversee the ICS cycle and ensure all related tasks are performed by the organisation in line with ICS policies and guidelines.

Processing Posting of Journals:

• Process the daily posting of journals into the accounting system (SAP), maintaining the integrity of financial data and records. 

 Oversee Insurance Accounts:

• Perform reconciliation of insurance lead fees and prepare the monthly insurance income statement to support financial reporting and decision-making processes. 

Maintain Financial Accounts:

• Maintain the accounts receivables and payable ageing analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 3 years’ working experience
• Experience within Financial Service Industry
• Degree/Diploma – accounting or financial management
• Postgraduate Qualification advantageous
• SAIPA Registered
