Allocation Specialist at Corteva Agriscience

Duties:

As Allocation Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Control and management of seed availability to the sales team;
• Analysis of sales performance and recommendations for necessary adjustments, cancellations or additions to purchase orders;
• Analysis of allocation planning in co-operation with the Supply Chain Manager;
• Regional inventory management and inventory re-allocation based on a forecasted demand plan and supply analysis;
• Proactive management of inventory allocation and distribution between the sales team;
• Developing, maintaining, analysing and executing chain level item plans.
• You will also be a contributor in the cross-functional team and manage all aspects of inventory allocation.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent through inventory management experience;
• Experience in the agriculture, manufacturing or seed industry;
• Working experience of SAP and extremely strong excel skills, especially analytical techniques;
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions; and
• Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate complex processes.
• The Allocation Specialist generally works in an office environment but is expected to be highly familiar with all production operations and to regularly visit all significant company operations.
