Analyst Temp - Biorefinery at Sappi

As an Analyst Temp, you will be responsible for:

• Perform laboratory experiments according to standard procedures.
• Ensure that there is zero rework on experiments conducted.
• Assist with sample collection and sample preparation.
• Ensure all information is correctly documented to keep an accurate database of records.
• All daily tasks are accurately recorded and reported on and escalated if necessary.
• Report data from experiments and field testing.
• Ensure that standard operating procedure is followed when using equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order at all times.
• All deviations are reported and appropriate action is taken to correct.
• Identify and report on malfunction of equipment.
• Actively participate in internal audits.  

What are we looking for?

• Matric certificate / relevant NQF level qualification
• A National Diploma in Chemistry, Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering will be advantageous
• 1 – 3 years experience in an analytical environment
• PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
