As a Consultant in Histology, you will provide expert anatomical pathology services to clinicians, helping guide critical decisions that impact patient care. You will also play a key role in supporting and supervising the daily operations of our anatomical pathology laboratories, ensuring that our teams are empowered to deliver with precision and purpose. Role Requirements
To step confidently into this role, you’ll bring a strong foundation of professional qualifications that reflect your dedication to the field. You must hold an FC Path(SA), MBChB, and M Med (Pathology), and be registered with the HPCSA in the relevant practice field. These credentials are more than just formalities—they’re a testament to your commitment to excellence and your readiness to lead with integrity and accountability.Your experience will be the cornerstone of your impact. You’ll have a background in diagnostic anatomical pathology and histopathology, with a proven ability to advise clinicians on life-threatening results. You’ll have overseen laboratory operations, promoted professional standards, and contributed to continuous education within pathology teams.
