Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to bring a solid academic foundation. A three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Medical Sciences, or an advanced technology-related qualification is essential.
This ensures you have the technical grounding to understand complex systems and contribute meaningfully to our strategic goals.We are looking for someone with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience—someone who understands the rhythm of business operations and the intricacies of application maintenance. You should be familiar with our core software applications, including MEDITECH LIS, and have a strong grasp of our business processes. Your experience in designing, developing, and implementing software and hardware solutions will be invaluable, as will your ability to communicate technical concepts in a way that makes sense to everyone.
You will need to be comfortable working across the software development lifecycle and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to analysing and solving problems. Your insights will help us prevent issues before they arise and ensure our systems are always aligned with our organisational goals.
Skills Requirements
This role calls for excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans, as well as strong project management capabilities. You will be guiding projects from planning through to implementation, and your ability to keep things on track will be key to our success.
You should be able to translate user needs into clear, actionable requirements and work closely with developers and stakeholders to bring those solutions to life.
