AR Controller/Debtors Clerk at Cepheid

POSITION SUMMARY: Support the Finance Manager and AR Collection activities

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Main finance contact for the RSA debtors;

• Contact Customer sites requesting all relevant processes to be actioned to ensure that invoices are open for payment (GRN processing)

• Make collection calls on past due accounts;

• Monitor DSO and AR aging by customer; identify actions required for best collection results and resolutions;

• Reconcile debtors balances and clear aged items

• Support the Africa Finance team in implementing AR policies; procedures and internal controls;

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education or Experience (in years):  ​

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.

• Minimum 5 years experience in Credit collection

Knowledge and skills: 

• Fluent in English

• SAP experience a plus

• Microsoft Excel advanced user a plus

• Accuracy - Attention to Detail

• Professionalism and a positive attitude

• Excellent communication skills

• Good organization capacity and ability to meet 100% of deadlines

• Self-starter and autonomous

• Ability to work in an International environment

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)

• Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
