Artisan (Boilermaker) at Glencore

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12
• Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
• Boilermaker trade certificate
• Completed POE for Section 26D trade certificate

 SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year post trade test experience as a Boilermaker in a heavy industry environment
• SAP and Coupa knowledge will be advantageous
• Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Able to work under pressure, adaptable, attention to detail

 JOB OBJECTIVES

In this role you will be reporting to the Artisan Coordinator for the following:

• Pro-active maintenance service & installation of new equipment
• Adhere to safety, environment, quality and housekeeping standards
• Comply with all regulations and procedures
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis of equipment breakdown
• Perform repairs and maintenance on conveyor belts, chutes, bearings in accordance with technical specifications, standard operating procedures and safety regulations
• Maintain plant availability and operational stability in accordance with required standards
• Planned maintenance, schedules and shutdowns
• Overtime will be worked when so required
• Acting in higher position when so required
