Artisan Electrician at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Artisan Electrician to join their company based in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all plant and equipment are operational from an electrical perspective to minimize downtime and prevent faults.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns efficiently and accurately.
• Perform regular proactive maintenance on equipment to prevent failures, in line with maintenance schedules.
• Execute planned maintenance activities according to schedules to maintain equipment reliability.
• Comply with all relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) regulations during maintenance activities, including preparation of safety documentation as required.
• Source parts, spares, and equipment as needed to support maintenance activities.
• Assist and collaborate with team members in the maintenance of machinery and provide on-the-job training where necessary.
• Supervise and support assistants or contractors performing maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular lockouts of systems as required for safety and maintenance purposes.
• Be available to work on standby and rotational shifts as required to ensure continuous operational support.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• N4 Certificate in Electrical Engineering
• Valid Trade Test Certificate (Electrical)
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrician
• Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• 5 years' experience in HT Switching
• Valid Driver's License
