Artist & Label Partnerships Manager Sub Saharan Africa
The ALP Manager will work with the existing ALP team to find opportunities with unlocking crossed functional projects
Stimulate innovation & creativity with a focus on longtail markets where Spotify holds no physical presence and may or may not have business development partnership deals in place
Build strong cases based on data
Some of the key regional activities that the ALP Manager will implement is business cases & bets (build framework)
You will implement region-specific music campaigns (Artist or playlist focused)
Develop/Establish regional frameworks (processes, guidelines within ALP and cross-functionally)
Lead internal communications plan
Support local teams in building, planning and implementing campaigns for internal collaborators across our owned channels
Ideate along with ALP Managers to propose creative music campaign ideas demonstrating our toolset
Compile quarterly label reviews in collaboration with ALP managers
Operate across a few owned channels, and lead first-party data to build cohorts and implement campaigns
Ensure campaigns deliver against their business objectives, while also maintaining standard process
Provide analysis, insights and reporting on campaign performance
Own the team’s tools to provide a visible and cohesive view of Spotify’s promotional efforts
Become a guide on Spotify’s on-platform promotional surfaces, understanding how they can best be used to drive Spotify’s business goals, and finding opportunities to build new tools and scale existing ones
Who You Are
You are proficient in English with excellent presentation skills. Solid understanding of French and/or Portuguese are a plus
Experience working within music or entertainment strongly preferred
Experience working with international partners
An understanding of promotional tools and a/b testing
A strong understanding of the dynamics, needs and demands of a content-driven business, for example a record label or studio
A keen analytical eye, be able to identify trends in data and turn them into significant insights
You are creative, curious and unafraid to test & learn, trying out new campaign ideas
You are an excellent communicator, and able to represent the team and its mission to a broad range of partners
You are highly collaborative, and a specialist in balancing a variety of needs across a company
You are adaptable, cope well with constantly evolving context and take initiative.
