Asset Management Consultant

PURPOSE: • deliver asset management services to a variety of clients - across areas various regions and Northern Cape region (either Mechanical or Electrical ENGINEER) Must be qualified engineer

Rotations for Northern Cape for 2021 - is 2 weeks to site (Mon - Friday - home weekend) - 2 weeks at home (remote support)

MAJOR CHALLENGES:
- Deliver the asset management services on site: eg: Site audits & maintenance assessments
- Capability plant analysis
- Condition monitoring
- Maintenace system & process guidance
- Operational budgets
- Materials & tool usage plans
- Data analysis: advice & capture
- Root cause analysis
- Standardization and alignment to international best practice
- Training & Mentoring
- Provide "help desk support' on the Computerized maintenance programme.
EDUCATION:
- B.Eng (Mech or Elect) min. with 3 years experience in asset management & reliability engineering
- CMMS
- ISO55000 knowledge
- Experience in audits / general engineering within the mining/heavy industry as a minimum
EXPERIENCE:
- Reliability Engineering
- Maintenance Engineering
Ability to be flexible & travel to site / based Mon-Friday on site or 2 weeks on site/2weeks in JHB (or home) depending on site.
