Assistant Accountant (SAP) 6 Month Contract 

We're seeking an Assistant Accountant with strong SAP knowledge, for a period of up to 6 Months, within the Sandton area.  This position is on a contract basis (up to 6 Months). This position is to start immediately (permanently employed candidates need not apply).   

Duties & Responsibilities:

• This position entails a multitude of accounting activities including Vat reconciliation preparation, General Ledger reconciliation preparation, fixed asset and lease accounting, journal preparation, audit preparation and tight deadlines. 
• The assistant accountant will work closely with the Accountants and Senior Accountant. Responsibilities include the ability to ensure that work is accurately completed in a timely manner and to ensure the financial results are reliable, accurate and complete.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• BCom Accounting Degree / related financial qualification 
• 2-3 years' general Finance experience in a financial assistant accounting role or post-articles
• Previous experience in a Shared Services environment advantageous
• Solid experience with using SAP Financial Modules

Package & Remuneration

• Salary: R15 000 - R20 000 Per Month
• Contract: Up to 6 months'
