Assistant Finance Manager - Sandton at Core Group

We are a fast-growing technology company looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. As the custodian of the financial information recorded in our financial processing and reporting system, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare analysis and provide insight into financial information
• Manage risk resulting from various financial process flows
• Support compliance and governance of various regulations applicable to the business (IFRS, Companies Act, Internal Audit framework, Tax regulation)
• Custodian of the general ledger
• Balance sheet substantiation
• Direct and indirect taxation
• Reporting and analysis
• Audit and annual financial statements
• Internal control environment
• Ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• CA (SA) Qualification
• Three or more years working in a similar role
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• High-level competency in Excel and other data tools
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
• Dynamic outlook to the workplace - Able and willing to adjust to ongoing changes within the workplace
• Discipline and attention to detail
• Efficient and proactive worker
