Position Overview
The successful candidate will assist the Program Manager in developing the access team strategy and implementation initiatives, as well as provide technical guidance in close collaboration with other related teams. They, along with the relevant Program Manager, will represent CHAI with government and non-government partners. The candidate should have strong relationship management skills, as they will interface with stakeholders in the complex global health industry. The Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from quantitative analysis to collaborating with stakeholders, and will be expected to lead areas of engagement.
CHAI is seeking a highly motivated individual with at least 5 years of working as a consultant, program manager, or strategist, preferably in the global health field. A proven record of leadership, program execution, and communication skills is required. The candidate must be able to function independently with a strong commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment. CHAI places great value on relevant personal qualities resourcefulness, humility, responsibility, tenacity, independence, energy, and work ethic.
The Associate will be based in Pretoria, South Africa, and report to the Program Manager.
