Backend Software Developer at WBWR

Your Role

• You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining backend services in Node.js (TypeScript) and C# (.NET Core), integrating with external APIs, supporting large-scale data flows, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security across our client projects.
• You’ll work closely with our front-end developers, project managers, and QA to deliver backend systems that are a pleasure to integrate with and a joy to maintain.

What You’ll Work On

• RESTful and GraphQL APIs powering web/mobile experiences
• ERP and third-party API integrations
• Backend services deployed to Google Cloud or AWS
• Database interactions (SQL, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Firebase)
• Clean Architecture patterns and modular service design
• Job queues, background workers, batch processors
• Logging, monitoring, and error tracking (Sentry, Cloud Logging)

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Solid knowledge of Node.js with TypeScript
• Experience with C# and .NET Core, including building APIs and service layers
• Strong understanding of REST principles and async programming
• Experience designing and consuming external APIs
• Good understanding of modern architecture patterns (Clean, SOLID)
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Git + GitHub experience
• Strong debugging skills and high attention to detail
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)
