Job Description

Responsibilities
Primary Duties

• Ensure Preferential Procurement target is reached through a robust strategy 
• Lead the annual BBBEE audit for Preferential Procurement
• Deliver ESD (Enterprise/Supplier Development) target points
• Identify compliant ESD Suppliers for the BBBEE committee to interview and review for grants/loans
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency and time savings. This will enable leadership to make enhanced decisions. 
• Ensure all paperwork, approval documents, supplier agreements, quotes, invoices are in place
• Conduct annual audits at grant/loan recipients
• Manage the BBBEE fleet vehicles. Ensure all contracts are signed and filed 
• Manage the BBBEE SharePoint
• Participate and/or lead projects with the AITF, Tasez , AIDC and Incubatees at the incubation centre
• Ensure tri-party agreements are in place with the AIDC and Tier1 suppliers

Secondary Duties

• Support the Strategy Team with various ad hoc projects for example benchmark studies, South Africa specific training.
• Support the Strategy Team with actions to improve supplier relationships
• Continuously monitor and report on the regional and global geopolitical climate and automotive news

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Supply chain management, Procurement, Business administration, Law)
• Specialized certification (BBBEE compliance training, Compliance & Governance courses (South African context)
• Additional skills (Data analysis, reporting. Understanding of Preferential Procurement and Enterprise Development
