BI Data Analyst I at Nedbank

Job Purpose

• The main purpose of this role is to design, development, implement and facilitate Reporting and Dashboard capabilities in the access governance team. The role will require to design and publish Dashboards and Reports by adhering to metadata governance procedures. This role must manage final transformed data content by complying to prescribed standards for reviewing and publishing and govern population of the DataMart and metadata repository by complying to standards, systems, processes and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• To design, development, implement and facilitate Reporting and Dashboard capabilities.
• Manage final transformed data content by complying to prescribed standards for reviewing and publishing.
• Govern population of DataMart and metadata repository by complying to standards, systems, processes and procedures.
• Support Access Governance team by providing consulting services that delivers data and information relevant to their business.
• Develop optimum solutions that meet both business and technology requirements. (Performance, Cost, Sustainability, Capacity, ROI). 

Essential Certifications

• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

•  Degree in Information Technology

Minimum Experience Level

• 3 - 6 years general work experience in an IT environment
• Minimum with 3 years specialist experience in systems analysis and data
• Understanding of business and systems landscapes within the greater Nedbank environment
• Knowledge of security concepts in the broader Identity and Access Management related environment
• 3 - 6 years’ data analysis and Warehouse experience
• 1 – 2 years’ work experience in a relevant information security related business environment
• Knowledge of security concepts in the broader Access Management related environment

Technical / Professional Knowledge

• Data Analysis
