Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 (NQF4)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in billing, accounting, or revenue cycle management
• Higher Certificate in Finance & Business Administration
• Previous data capturing experience is a MUST
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Computer literacy essential (MS Office Suite)
• Strong Customer orientation

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Ability to analyze billing data, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex issues
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Ability to interpret contracts, pricing schedules, and customer agreements

 Leadership & Management Competencies

• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a billing team
• Experience establishing and improving billing workflows and internal controls
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams

Compliance & Professional Standards

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements (industry-specific)
• Ability to ensure billing activities align with company policies and audit standards

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with high-volume or complex billing environments
• Experience in industry-specific billing (e.g., healthcare, SaaS, construction, legal services)
