BIM Modeller - Structures at AECOM

Job Description

• Some experience in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) or Bentley OpenBuildings to model and produce drawings with direct supervision
• Prepare BIM models and deliverables to ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plan
• Checks the completeness & accuracy of your work before review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member.
• Follow coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other coordination software and supports the team through the delivery phase
• Assist with the management and coordination of all in-coming and out-going model and drawing information.
• Manages projects in BIM360
• Organizes own work to achieve set deadlines
• Keeps abreast of the latest software/ techniques to increase productivity​​

Qualifications

• BIM Qualification / Diploma / bachelor’s degree in civil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 1 years’ experience of relevant Revit modelling
• Some technical knowledge and experience of concrete, steelwork, and reinforcement 3D modelling
• Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes, and general approaches
• Some technical knowledge of practice line discipline
• Ability to fulfil all the above duties and responsibilities
