Bookkeeper - Centurion at Arjo

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering and verifying financial transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, and general ledger entries
• Process and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Maintain an organized system for filing and storing financial documents, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and reference.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and information during financial audits
• Compilation and reconciliation of VAT monthly
• Assisting accountant with various tasks

Experience and qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

Skills

• Sage experience (Accpac)
• Microsoft office, intermediate excel level
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Must be a TEAM player
