Bottle Feeder at RCL Foods

• RCL FOODS is seeking a Bottle Feeder FTC to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Team Leader. RCL FOODS entrusts the responsible individual to operate production equipment as per training provided by the company or delegated responsible persons, as well as additional tasks that may be requested by the Supervisor within the scope of work.

Minimum Requirements   
Minimum qualification and experience requirements

• Matric
• Read and Write
• Minimun 1 year beverage product packing

Knowledge

• Storage area control
• Safety Health and Environmental aspects 
• Cycle counting and reconciliation
• Stock rotation (FIFO)
• Planning and coordinating with other departments

Duties & Responsibilities    
Responsibilites

• Ensure Sufficient packaging materials is available for shift ahead that is correct and within specifications
• Check that all safety mechanism are in working condition
• Check that machine and conveyors are properly clean and free from foreign matter / Product
• Ensure correct packaging material and palletising requirements are available daily on time
• Must report all non-conforming product / Packaging to supervisor and QC for investigation
• Must record and report machine failures or stoppages to Supervisor in order to action maintenance staff by means of Job card
• Need to run machine at rated speed and minimise waste to meet planned requirement.
• Carry out operational quality checks as per checklist during production
• Will run production once all required specifications are obtained by QC
• Carry out housekeeping duties in and around his / her machine (Area of Responsibility Chart) CLEAN AS YOU GO
• Ensure all required production records are correctly captured, Signed off and filed on a daily basis.
• Support and Assist maintenance personnel with breakdowns / operational
