Business Analyst (JB4306) at Kontak Recruitment

An IoT Service Provoder is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our team.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with their development and marketing teams to bring much-needed business context to the development process, and engineering, design, and systems thinking insights to their broader business teams.

You will be responsible for analyzing business data, defining business requirements, and providing strategic guidance on product development

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience working with mobile applications or other software products
• Familiarity with user-cantered design principles and design thinking methodologies
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Experience working in a cross-functional development environment
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to think critically
• Curious
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Understanding of software development principles and processes
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
• Passion for technology and willingness to dive deep into the product

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize business requirements for new product features and enhancements
• Work closely with developers to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately
• Work closely with business, sales, and marketing to ensure opportunities are realized, and customer requirements are sane, in line with our product vision, and implementable
• Analyze business data and provide insights and recommendations to improve our product, marketing, and sales strategies
• Help define product positioning, target market, and customer personas
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and user stories
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between business, engineering, design, product, and marketing teams
• Participate in product demos, user acceptance testing, and other product-related activities as needed
• Engage with project managers and help prioritize effort and opportunity
