Business Analyst - senior (PB Tech - Card) (8045) at Investec Asset Management

Description of the role 

Investec is looking for a Business Analyst in Card team within the Private Bank Technology division. The Business Analyst's responsibilities will include the translation of business requirements for complex solutions into a standard specification format. They will ensure the quality of the implementation of these requirements, define user acceptance test strategy and cases, perform system testing and co-ordination. They will liaise with developers to ensure the requirements are clearly understood and implemented accordingly, understand and define system integration and data flows, perform stakeholder management, user training and communication. Must adhere to agreed standards, methodologies and processes.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to detail is required.

Experience, skill and capability

• 5+ Years Business Analysis experience in a cross section of Application environments, preferably in the Banking or Financial arena
• Experience in Banking Ops functions would be beneficial
• Previous experience working on projects and/or process re-engineering initiatives is essential
• Previous process and/or product modelling experience is essential
• Knowledge in both waterfall and Agile methodologies is required
• BA related qualifications would be beneficial
