Business Analyst / Solutions Designer 

A major player in the financial services industry that provides solutions for every step in the cash supply chain is seeking a competent Solutions Designer to be responsible for the design and implementation of technical solutions for enterprise projects, data integrations and enhancement of exisiting systems and applications.

You will be responsible for:

• Analyse and understand the need within the current framework in which the technical solution would be implemented.
• Responsible for facilitating JAD sessions in order to gather technical solutions requirements in order to equip the relevant stakeholders throughout the process
• Compile functional and technical specifications which includes the implementation approach, infrastructure and security requirements as well as ensuring that the non-functional requirement are addressed by the specification.
• Present solution designs for every project, enhancement and data integration tasks to relevant forums to obtain successful sign off
• Continuous involvement throughout the lifecycle of a project or enhancement to ensure successful detail design and solution
• Designing and presenting of solution prototypes before finalizing the solution for new projects
• Analyse, identify and resolve process problems and documents work done, including all other relevant reports, version control of these documents and general support in accordance to SLA by using approved tool sets.

Requirements:

• 3 year ICT diploma/ degree
• Microsoft certification would be added advantage, SOA certification would be added advantage
• 5-8 years’ experience in IBM, BPM 7.5 or above, process design patterns, J2EE, Webservices, Mediation, Integration,Routing, Transformations, adapters, DB2 databases.
• Schema Designing BPEL process, data mapping and applying transformation rules. BPMN, UML terminologies.
• Websphere Message Broker or any other ESB.
