Business Analyst (Southern Suburbs (Cape) at Melomed Private Hospitals

Key Outputs:

• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and requirements across departments.
• Liaise with various departments (IT, HR, Finance, and Clinical teams) to understand their needs and propose improvements.
• Facilitate business process re-engineering initiatives and help implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Support IT integration efforts, including digitizing hospital operations, with a focus on data-driven solutions such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Assist in evaluating the impact of proposed changes and provide recommendations for optimizing business performance.
• Ensure that new processes are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Track and monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting performance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
• Extensive experience in at least two of the following areas: IT, HR, Finance, or Healthcare.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements and digital transformation projects.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and processes will be highly advantageous.
