Business Analyst at StatPro

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Setting up a project plan;
• System Installation;
• Business Analysis;
• Investment Compliance rule workshops;
• Implementing & executing a test plan;
• Project status reporting and meeting;
• Process and workflow documentation;
• User Training;
• Liaising with the development team for system configuration and system changes;
• Change management;
• Client relationship Management;
• Support to existing clients. Guide and support client with queries relating to SPC; or a specific implementation
• Become intimately familiar with industry compliance regulations and changes thereto
• Attend weekly feedback sessions, providing feedback on task completed and into work that is scheduled;
• Update implementation specific functional / operational help documentation;
• Assist the sales team in a sales support capacity.
• Assist clients with queries relating to their BAU (business as usual) processes pertaining to their implementations

Skills & requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance or Finance related qualification
• We are looking for a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience with business analysis and investment data

• An interest in the investment management industry and making sense of investment data
• Experience working in the Investment management or related industry
• Advanced MS Office skills with emphasis on advanced Excel skills.

Desirable Skills 

• SQL knowledge
• Knowledge of compliance regulations (REG28, CISCA, UCITS etc.)
• SPC operational experience (hugely beneficial)
• Reporting and data warehouse implementation experience
• Exposure to large corporate organizations, ideally in Asset Managers
