Job Summary:

Qode health solutions are looking for a Data and Business Analyst to join our team. The Data and Business Analyst is responsible for analysing the organisation and design of technical systems, business models, processes and strategic business needs. The Data and Business Analyst is also responsible for discovering the actual needs of stakeholders. Please note that this BA position is for a Data specific role.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between business departments in order to reach business goals
• Play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with capabilities that can be delivered by IT
• Develop a clear understanding of all existing data requirements
• Work with stakeholders at all levels
• Assist with integration and acceptance testing
• Collect and interpret data
• Analyse results using statistical techniques
• Report the results back to the relevant members of the business
• Identify patterns and trends in data sets
• Work alongside teams within the business to establish business needs
• Define new data collection and analyse processes
• Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilisation
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
• Analyse customer data and understand different trends
• Understand business intelligence solutions
• Being able to query all aspects of the data lifecycle. Example from source databases to SSAS Cube browsing
• Regular engagement with stakeholders takes place with the intention to add value
• Regular feedback is provided to stakeholders in support of performance
• Communication to the stakeholders are frequent, relevant and on time

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Essential)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data field
• Microsoft certification - SQL

Experience

• 3+ years’ of relevant Business Analysis/Intelligence knowledge and experience
• Experience in the data space is essential

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of business analysis
• Knowledge of an Information Technology environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI development stack such as:
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Knowledge of SSMS and TSQL
• Knowledge of the business and industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and report development
• Knowledge of TSQL queries
• Knowledge of data design and system integration

Salary

• R 40 000 – R 55 000 per Month
