    Business Development Manager: Pest Control

    The purpose of a Business Development Manager: Pest Control is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships by building long-term relationships with new and existing clients. To develop a growth strategy focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

     

    • New Business
    •  Leverage off an existing customer base, by compiling and coordinating Pest Control Proposals.
    •  ‘Cold call’ as appropriate within the Pest Control market to
    • ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
    •  Work within a Diverse National Sales team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
    •  Be Familiar with and able to compile proposals on various areas of Pest Control specializing in Termites, Cockroaches, Ants, Mice/ Rats, Moths, Fleas and Insects
    •  Be Familiar with and able to compile proposals on Pest control services including Bird Proofing, Snake removal Bees/wasp, Moles Treatment
    •  Be Familiar with and able to compile proposals on the Pest control Application Methods of Spraying, Gel Baiting, Fumigation, Fly Bait Stations & Electrical Fly Catchers and Rodent Bait Stations
    •  Resolve objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive outcome
    •  Using knowledge of the market and industry to develop the company’s unique selling propositions and industry differentiators.
    • Operations and service delivery:
    •  Updating daily leads tracker, pipeline update
    •  Networking and build relationships within other Tsebo Companies (FM, Food services)
    •  Using existing Client list to grow business

    Skills

    •  Advanced Microsoft skills
    •  Driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
    •  Understand Pest Control application principles and procedures.
    •  Business management principles and financial acumen.
    •  Strong on client relationships and strong communication skills
    •  Preparation of Pest Control sales proposals ensuring compliance to all industry standards and norms.
    •  Conduct research to identify new market sectors and customer needs
    •  Seeking out innovative industry trends and procedures.
    •  Proven successful sales track record
    •  Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures within the Pest Control industry.
    •  A proactive, analytical, logical and disciplined approach to problem-solving
    •  Strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills
    •  Group and one-on-one presentation skills

    Qualifications

    •  Grade 12
    •  Minimum of 3 years’ Pest Control Sales experience
    •  Must have knowledge of HACCP in the Pest Control field
