Business Manager, CHEP Pallets, South Africa at CHEP

Key Accountabilities

• New and existing business development by actively identifying new business opportunities in all market sectors for all product ranges, namely Pallets, RPCs, IBCs and Bulk Bins
• Implement strategies and plans for development of new business / growth opportunities as well as lead and participate in new business projects.
• Customer Relationship management, assisting in and conducting rate negotiations when and where necessary
• Effective stakeholder engagement with various customers including big retail businesses as well as family run establishments

Key Requirements

• Matric
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferably B. Com)
• 5 Years Key Account Management/Sales/ Marketing experience in a Technical Sales environment

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of distribution/logistics methodologies
• Effective portfolio management experience
• Computer skills
• Must be a self-starter who has a strong customer service orientation, can work independently
• Must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication.
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Education

• Bachelors - Marketing, Diploma - Marketing

Preferred Level of Work Experience

• 3 - 5 years
