• The Buyer is responsible for sourcing and negotiating cost effective and timeous procurement and distribution of materials and supplies. This entails sourcing suppliers, securing and reviewing prices and expediting the orders with suppliers to meet production or general material deadlines. This will require sourcing of new product streams, find new vendors and develop best practice procurement strategies. The Senior Buyer supervises the assistants and ensure statutory compliance and adherence to company policies, procedures and BOS to perfection.

Academic Qualification 

• Grade 12 minimum
• Tertiary Purchasing diploma / certificate – advantageous

• 5-10 years experience in construction industry
• Build smart experience will be advantageous
