CAD Technician (Solar energy industry) at Status Staffing

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 – 3 Years’ experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of engineering
• Solar PV Knowledge will be advantageous
• Must be able to work on AutoCAD
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

DUTIES:

• Design following the different project requirements formulated by the Project Engineer.
• Optimizing each design to minimize the installation and construction costs of each project.
• Request support and train yourself to be proficient in using Helioscope Designs, PV Case, PV Cad and PV SYST as well as other relevant design tools.
• Provide input to project managers to assist them in completing their projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Provide feedback and input to the sales team to advise the client regarding the best suitable solution for their needs.
• Attend customer meetings and presentations throughout sales cycle, if necessary.
• Keep up to date with the latest products and specifications by communicating with vendors on a regular basis.
