Cargo Broker Trainee (air freight) at Delta World Charter

The Role:

• Building your client’s portfolio, creating brand awareness and identifying new prospective clients by cold calling, networking and lead generation.
• Developing and continuously improving on an expert understanding of aircraft types, their range, capacity and capabilities.
• Managing and improving a charter booking process from enquiry to post flight report.
• Overseeing flight departures and travel if needed.
• Building long term relationships with both suppliers and clients.
• Data management (In-house CRM system).

 Ideal candidate profile:

• A young and ambitious individual looking for career development opportunity.
• Confident in generating new leads.
• With sales experience or demonstration of a strong sales ability
• Achieving and surpassing monthly and annual targets and KPI’s
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a must, a third language is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Results driven and disciplined with a good attention to detail.
• Team player, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Should have a valid driver’s license, car and a valid passport
