Catalog Operations Manager - Grocery & Retail, SSA at Uber

What You'll Do

• Build tools and processes: Develop scalable processes to acquire content that will be used to to enrich merchant catalogs
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with commercial and engineering teams to integrate merchants’ catalog/inventory systems and loyalty programmes
• Operational Improvement: Drive a great shopping experience by ensuring correct findability, replacements and a uniform search experience.
• Analysis: Quantify everything you do. Utilise data-driven decision making to understand the performance of initiatives to ensure you are effectively prioritising those with the highest return on investment.
• Project Management: Champion the adoption and implementation of catalog product features in the SSA market

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in a commercial/ technical field
• An analytical mindset and strong business acumen; you have experience using SQL and advanced Excel, and are comfortable translating technical details to business outcomes
• Highly collaborative; you know how to collaborate, engage and partner with a variety of different stakeholder groups in order to achieve shared goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with catalogs and inventory management at an e-commerce, FMCG, retail or technology company
• Advanced SQL skills
