    Chief Finance Officer

    The Job

    You will be responsible for Triggerise’s finance and organizational risk strategy. You’ll build and design a finance function that has the infrastructure to efficiently run a global donor funded organisation. You ensure correct financial planning and donor reporting, as well as an optimal cash flow. Your team will grow together with us, it will be your job to prepare it to successfully scale globally.  

    You’ll also be responsible for: 

    • Setting a vision and strategy for your department
    • Implementing logical financial processes that support our work. You also make sure they are known and understood within the organisation
    • Leading and developing your team 
    • Spearheading quarterly, half annual and annual financial planning processes.
    • Forecasting and tracking all donor funding based on signed contracts.
    • Optimize the ERP and other internal processes/systems to our future needs.

    About You

    You are a leader. You have a vision about where your department needs to go and can translate that into an effective strategy. You can gather your global, remote, team behind a common vision and get the best out of them. You have a no-nonsense, non bureaucratic approach to your work but you do make sure that all important details are covered. You can effectively represent Triggerise's best interests with external stakeholders. 

    Requirements

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant / Professional finance qualification 
    • 8+ years of experience in a Senior Finance position 
    • Experience working for a Non-Profit organization

    The Rewards

    At Triggerise we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The salary bracket for this position, excluding benefits, is R97 400 – R146 200 per month in South Africa, KSH 623 000 – KSH 934 000 per month in Kenya, €5 200 - €7800 in Portugal, €8 400 - €12 600 in the Netherlands. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
