Role Description

• Looking for a bright, motivated Claims Handler with 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role. You need to have experience using a claim system such as TIA and have worked in an insurance environment. It’s an opportunity to grow in an environment where personal development is highly valued and supported by a team that drives excellence. Please note that the working hours will be a bit unusual (weekends and during the week start times are late morning to early evening).

Salary

• R20,000 – R25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer queries regarding claims
• Handle and process claim reports
• Assess claims to calculate the liability
• Negotiate settlements and arrange payment
• Assist in company growth by excelling at your role

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/business degree
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience using a claim system such as TIA
• Adaptable team player
• Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
