Clerk: Credit Returns (Durban) at Mustek Limited

Purpose:

• The clerk (Credit Returns/Purchases) is primarily responsible for implementation of the company’s credited goods policy and procedure through client liaison and controlling the movement of goods returned.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support returns officer effectively in his day-to-day tasks.
• Coordinate returns clerk activities with warehouse management and distribution centre.
• Process returns of orders.
• Inspect and verify products and merchandize worth returning.
• Verify and inspect all forms, reports and records relating to product returns.
• Inspect and reconcile quantities returned with that of the returns forms and documents.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through handling of product returns and exchanges.
• Purchasing in of stock on Epicor system.
   

Requirements
Qualification and Experience:

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in business administration or finance would be advantageous.
   

Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of general administrative processes
• Good knowledge of facility layout
• Good communication
• Good people skills
