• Two Client Manager positions are available for technically sharp, client-focused accounting professionals who are ready to own a portfolio, build trusted advisor relationships and grow their expertise into Dutch accounting and tax. Training in Dutch GAAP is provided, so prior knowledge of Dutch accounting standards is not required. What matters is strong foundational accounting experience, a genuine enjoyment of client work and the discipline to thrive independently in a fully remote setup.

Minimum Requirements

• SAIPA, CA(SA) or AGA(SA) qualification preferred, with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum five years of experience within an accounting or audit firm, with the balance of that experience weighted towards accounting work
• Proven experience preparing annual financial statements
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Prior exposure to IFRS is highly advantageous
• Experience working with international clients is beneficial
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms such as Exact Online, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CaseWare or similar
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to review reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Experience with CRM systems is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of between 30 and 60 international clients as the primary accounting point of contact
• Prepare financial statements under Dutch GAAP, with full training provided, or under IFRS where prior experience exists
• Prepare Dutch Corporate Income Tax returns under the supervision and guidance of Dutch tax specialists
• Review accounting records, reconciliations and supporting schedules for completeness and accuracy
• Liaise regularly with clients to gather information efficiently and maintain high levels of satisfaction
• Plan and monitor quarterly deliverables across assigned client portfolios
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of clients and maintain accurate CRM records
• Oversee and review work completed by assistant accountants and bookkeepers in both South Africa and the Netherlands
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting team members
• Coordinate work across team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure compliant and timely submission of tax returns
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and client service quality
• Maintain high professional standards of ethics and client confidentiality at all times
