    Clinical Salesperson : Immunology Portfolio (Pharmaceuticals)

    The Role

    We're seeking a Clinical Salesperson who would be responsible for all sales related and in-field promotional activities for an Immunology portfolio. The suitable candidate must be able to develop territory and build strong customer relationships. The target customers are: Dermatologist, Allergists and Pulmonologists.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Effectively implement sales strategy and tactics in accordance with company policies, to achieve set targets
    • Regularly monitor and provide feedback on territory’s sales performance versus budget
    • Conduct analysis of market/ competitors to identify territory business opportunities
    • Develop Territory Business Plan and allocate resources (e.g. call activities, budget), for optimal sales impact
    • Participate in promotional activity programmes to increase product awareness in the market
    •  Arrange CPD/CME meetings for scientific exchange with the target audiance
    • Participate in regional and national congresses to support and advance portfolio objectives
    •  Submit weekly call planner using company tools and report completed calls according to company SOP.
    • Submit monthly reports commenting on deviations from Territory Business Plan and intended actions to align performance with objectives
    • Set up and maintain accurate customer and administrative records

    Desired Experience & Qualification:

    • Matric
    • Degree/Diploma in Life Sciences
    • Post Graduate Business Qualifcation
    • Valid Drivers Licence (Must be willing to travel as per territory requirements)
    • Minimum 8 years experience as a Sales Representative within the Pharmaceutical Environment and 5 years in Speciality Care.
    • Proven sales and customer success record
    • Able to work without direct supervision
    • Good negotiation skills, be analytic and be innovative thinking
    • Applicants must live within the Western Cape (Cape Town)
    • Proven relationships with Dermatologists, Allergists and Pulmonologists
