Job Description:
Join us at our Sishen Mine for our Koketso Project as a Commissioning Co-ordinator as where you will be responsible for the following:

• Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager on all commissioning related matters of the project execution, and accountable for successful completion of commissioning and hand-over
• Giving inputs to the Commissioning Strategy and development of the Commissioning Management Plan / Systems and Processes
• Defining commissioning document requirement for each system, sub-system or component.
• Assist with development and arranges for approval of the commissioning procedures for all packages
• Organizing and ensures availability of the commissioning team and arranges the required manpower support.
• Organizing all personnel and software required to support and supervise the various commissioning phases.
• Detailing out the projects activities into required commissionable systems and subsystems.
• Train and support contractors on project commissioning system and processes
• Giving input on schedule through coordination with Contractors, for vendors presence/visits at sites to assist in the commissioning of critical equipment and processes
• Assisting Senior Construction & Commissioning Manger for timely performance of all commissioning activities on the packages and overall project
• Updating the line manager, on daily basis, progress on mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Compiling pre-commissioning and commissioning packs, containing all related documentation required for commissioning
• Facilitating handover of the facilities under consideration to the asset holder/end user on a package/plant system basis
• Following up clearance of all punch-list items and documents the same for progress reports and projects close-out purposes
•  Responsible for the document controlling of all commissioning related documents
• Collate or make available documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations as required by the commissioning department
• Assisting team members with documents in line with commissioning templates and guidelines.
• Filing and storage of documentation (paper and electronic).
• Distribution of relevant documents to appropriate internal and external stakeholders
• Adhering to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance and an environment where team members can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment

This role is in the Programme / Project Management on a Band 6 and will be reporting to the Senior Construction Commissioning Manager

Qualifications:
Qualifications

You will need to have the following Qualifications and experience

• Grade 12
• Tertiary Qualification in Quality
• Exposure dealing with Execution of Mega construction projects
• Exposure in Quality, Statistics, Scheduling and Reporting
• MS-Office and Excel
• Driver’s License
