Content Producer: Mining at Clarion Events

The role of Conference Producer is a key position within the business of Clarion Events. The role has regional (Sub-Saharan Africa) responsibilities and require a french speaking candidate.

Require quality assurance on all programmes, resource allocation and benefit led copywriting.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (French would be an advantage)
• Qualification in journalism or Communication
• Currently residing in Cape Town
• Able to travel
• Valid work visa

Responsibilities:

• Research, develop and write the content of high-level conference programmes
• Select, invite and secure high-level speakers who will speak at the conference
• Brief speakers and qualify presentation content and liaise and assist in editing content
• Work closely with Sales Managers to identify and secure support from relevant parties
• Work closely with Marketing Managers to ensure effective marketing of the conference
• Provide content for all marketing collateral related to the conference
• Provide speaker support at the conference to ensure smooth running of the programme
• Compile regular pre-event build-up milestone reports and post-conference summaries
• Onsite research and industry intelligence reports
• Department budget management
• Training of research matrix, identifying themes and programme directions
• Monitoring call activity across the production floor
• Ensuring production processes are followed and timelines are adhered to
