RPO Recruitment’s client, a construction contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of its construction projects in Polokwane.
This opportunity is suited to a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in both building and civil works, capable of managing multiple project contracts, coordinating teams and ensuring projects are delivered within contractual, financial and programme requirements.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry.
Extensive experience in building and civil works projects.
Proven experience in contracts management within the construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project administration and commercial management.
Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
Ability to manage project budgets, costs, claims and contractual variations.
Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Must be willing to be based in Polokwane.
