Cost and Management Accountant - Mooi River at Accountancy Placements

• Our client is looking for an experienced Cost and Management Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Month-end processing and reconciliation of key accounts
• Cost analysis, reporting, and variance investigation
• Inventory management control, including the coordination of cycle counts and month-end stock counts
• Setting up and maintaining bills of materials
• Supporting and implementing cost-saving initiatives
• Providing general support to the financial operations of the organisation

Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, or a related field
• Experience working with ERP systems (Sage X3, Syspro, or Pastel)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills, including working knowledge of pivot tables and relevant functions
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels and diverse cultural backgrounds
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work within flexible working conditions
