Credit Control Manager - Isando - Johannesburg at FUCHS

Your areas of responsibility:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Credit Control department.
• Lead a team of credit controllers, providing guidance and supervision to the team. 
• Setting, monitoring and evaluating collection targets for the business and individual controllers.
• Assessment and managementof customer risk, due diligence and setting of Credit Terms and Limits.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly Management reports.
• Daily & monthly supervision of Debtor Journals, Journal Controls, documentation, authorisation and reporting. 
• Supervision of Bad Debt Write Off / Recovery and calculation Provision for Doubtful Debts (IFRS9).
• Supervision of Third Party Collection Agent's efforts and reports in meeting overall business collections. 

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor of Commerce Accounting or Finance.
• 5 years experience in a Credit supervisory/management role along with CRM collections experience. 
• FAIS accreditaion will be advantageous.
• Thorough understanding of relevent legislation of the National Credit Act and Consumer Protection Act.
