As the Scheduling Manager, you are responsible for the PGP Scheduling function in South Africa (PGP & LPG packaged) ensuring efficient utilization of resources, while maintaining a high customer service
Identify and implement continues improvement initiatives across Scheduling and Distribution
Build on the new function in the team of “Supply Chain Planning” where the aim is to improve customer service, reduce “re-delivery” of orders, improved Km/nom by managing and coordinating availability of stock, by engaging with Production, Cylinder Planning, Sales, Customers and Distribution
You manage and develop staff in line with Linde principles and values
You are an expert user and custodian of route planning systems – PARAGON and Greenmile
Engage with Global Peer Groups to test new systems, benchmark and generate ideas for improvement
What makes you great
You possess a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport Management or Business Management
You have gained at least 5 years applicable experience in Planning or Distribution
